What is Commercial Photography?
Commercial photography is photography which is commissioned by a business, usually to help sell their products or services. It can encompass any of the great photographic 'themes', from fashion to architecture and still-life to abstract and more. Free Initial Consultation
When you contact me, the first thing I will do is arrange to meet you at your premises, or anywhere else convenient for you to discuss your requirements. I will be able to get an idea of how I will approach your commission and we will confirm what type of commission you require. ...more
Commissions
My charges are based on the amount of time spent on the commission, the number of photographs required and how the photographs will be used. Basic rates start at around £150 for a half-day shoot resulting in 8 photographs licenced for commercial use. Expenses will be charged on top of this but mileage is not charged for commissions within Cumbria. ...more
Product Photography
If you just want photographs of small products, or other items (they must fit into a 50x50x50 cm3 cube tent) against a plain coloured background, I offer a specialist product photography service with competitive rates. ...more
Licencing
At the end of the commission, the photographs provided to you will be licenced for you to use. The amount you pay depends on what you want to you them for. Typically photographs are licenced for personal and commercial use, however there will be an extra charge if you wish to use them in mainstream media, or if you wish to create products using the photographs.
